The Fabulous February Weekend

Tony Award and Grammy Award winner Katrina Lenk and two-time Tony Award and two-time Grammy Award winner Patti LuPone join forces in Stephen Sondheim and George Furth's groundbreaking musical comedy. 

It's Bobbie's 35th birthday party, and all her friends keep asking, why isn't she married? Why can't she find the right man, and isn't it time to settle down and start a family? As Bobbie searches for answers, she discovers why being single, being married, and being alive in 21st-century New York could drive a person crazy. 

Two-time Tony Award-winning director Marianne Elliott (War Horse, The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time, Angels in America) helms this revelatory new production, at once boldly sophisticated, deeply insightful, and downright hilarious. Company features Stephen Sondheim's award-winning songs "You Could Drive a Person Crazy," "The Ladies Who Lunch," "Side by Side by Side," and the iconic "Being Alive."

New York City. 1863. As the Civil War raged on, an extraordinary thing occurred amid the dangerous streets and crumbling tenement houses of the Five Points, the notorious 19th-century Lower Manhattan slum. Irish immigrants escaping the devastation of the Great Famine settled alongside free-born Black Americans and those who escaped slavery, arriving by means of the Underground Railroad. The two communities co-existed, intermarried, raised families, and shared their cultures in this unlikeliest of neighborhoods. 

The amalgamation between the communities took its most exuberant form with raucous dance contests on the floors of the neighborhood bars and dance halls. It is here in the Five Points where tap dancing was born, as Irish step dancing joyously competed with Black American Juba. This new musical features choreography by Tony-winner Bill T. Jones (Spring Awakening).

Billy Crystal returns to Broadway in his very first musical comedy! 

Mr. Saturday Night is the story of Buddy Young Jr., an outrageous and outspoken comedian who found fame, if not fortune, in the early days of television. Now, some 40 years after his TV career flamed out, Buddy seeks one more shot at the spotlight, and while he's at it, one last shot at fixing the family he fractured along the way. 

Written by Billy Crystal, Lowell Ganz, and Babaloo Mandel, based on an original concept by Billy Crystal, Mr. Saturday Night features music by three-time Tony winner Jason Robert Brown, lyrics by Tony Award nominee Amanda Green, choreography by Ellenore Scott (Funny Girl), and direction by Tony Award winner John Rando. This brand-new musical comedy about one comedian's meteoric rise to the middle arrives on Broadway this spring.

Golden Globe Award nominee Beanie Feldstein (American Crime Story: Impeachment, Hello, Dolly!) will be joined by Tony and Olivier Award nominee Ramin Karimloo (Les Misérables, Anastasia) as Nick Arnstein, five-time Emmy Award winner Jane Lynch (Glee, The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel) as Mrs. Rosie Brice, and Jeff Award winner Jared Grimes (A Soldier's Play, After Midnight) as Eddie Ryan in the first Broadway revival of Funny Girl. 

This bittersweet comedy is the story of the indomitable Fanny Brice, a girl from the Lower East Side who dreamed of a life on the stage. Everyone told her she'd never be a star, but then something funny happened—she became one of the most beloved performers in history, shining brighter than the brightest lights of Broadway. 

“It seems like people have been talking about a Broadway revival of Funny Girl ever since Barbra Streisand ended her run in the original 1964 production, but it has consistently failed to materialize. Finally, Beanie Feldstein steps into the role of Fanny Brice opposite Broadway’s favorite hunk. This is the show everyone is going to be talking about come Tony time.”
